About Us
- serving Island, King, Kitsap, and Snohomish Counties

"Since we started this business in 1987, we have had one guiding philosophy. Do your best, treat people right, and everything will work out from there. This has allowed us to build a business that has a reputation for leadership, innovation, and workmanship. When we have expanded, we have done so not because of more work, but because we have found individuals who have this same work ethic. We strongly believe that if someone is doing a job that they enjoy, this is reflected in their workmanship. To this effect the benefits that we offer include full medical dental insurance, four day work weeks, paid vacations, assorted bonus programs, and a retirement program with matching funds. We are not in this business to "make all the money we can", but rather we enjoy this work and believe that we can all benefit. With that said, we sincerely hope we can be of service to you. "

Ecological Grants

We strongly believe that the greatest benefit to the greatest amount of people, today and for generations to come, is through ecological stewardship.

Ecological grants put Earthwise Excavation's guiding principle of corporate social responsibility into action. Each year, a minimum of 9% of the company's profits are given to efforts that help protect and restore the environment. By directing financial support to those programs that affect positive and meaningful change, these grants embody the spirit of the company's environmental and educational missions.
Criteria
Projects which meet the following criteria will receive the highest priority for funding:
1. Protect and restore the planet
2. Generate measurable results, i.e. natural resources saved, people educated
3. Promote Earthwise Excavation via collateral and media relations.
Earthwise Excavation strives to achieve both a healthy financial and social/environmental bottom line in all of our endeavors and we employ the same "win-win" approach to corporate philanthropy. Be it via financial awards or newsletter mention, the goal is to build mutual support between Earthwise Excavation and each grant recipient

Since its inception in 1987, Earthwise Excavation has built a reputation for
service, innovation, and workmanship. We also strive to follow the path of an
evolutionary corporation with sustainable business practices, employee ownership,
community and philanthropic involvement. Customarily business and corporate
ideologies have viewed environmentalism as a threat to the bottom line. We regard
the sustainability imperative as an opportunity to gain competitive advantage,
reduce costs, increase employee and customer loyalty, and stimulate greater
innovation while improving the health of both the planet and people.
